This project prototype aims to support older adults, primarily aged 65+, in overcoming barriers to digital literacy and international mobility through dedicated training and practical experiences. It promotes inclusive European mobility by delivering tailored ICT skills workshops and travel preparation activities.
The course combines learning about modern technologies relevant to daily life and travel—such as smartphone usage, apps for navigation, translation, and communication—with culturally rich, group-centered mobility experiences.
Mobility is designed to be fully supported and accessible to seniors with health and cognitive challenges, encouraging confidence and autonomy.
Target Group:
The primary participants are older adults aged 65+, including retired individuals with varied health and mobility limitations.
Many seniors have:
- low ICT skills
- poor English proficiency
- concerns about travel.
Fewer opportunities arise from age-related health conditions, digital exclusion, and social isolation. The prototype accommodates these challenges through accessible content and supportive group travel environments.
Expected impacts include:
- increased digital and travel skills
- reduced anxiety around mobility
- enhanced social participation
- stronger European identity
- improved well-being.
The project aims to foster empowerment and enable older adults to enjoy the full benefits of international mobility opportunities inclusively.
