Partners

The project involves six partners from five European countries.
Created in 2022, the AFK association is located in Marseille, France. AFK aims to facilitate international learning experiences in all their forms, by creating and using tools adapted to all stages of these experiences: information and awareness-raising, preparation, international mobility and valorisation. Especially focused on youth, AFK works with its network and with digital technology at all stages of mobility to promote, facilitate and improve international experiences.

blinc eG, founded in 2005 in Goettingen, Germany, is a cooperative focused on Competence Oriented Learning and Validation (COL&V) with an emphasis on modern, technology-supported blended learning. Originating from EU-funded projects in health, social, environmental, and youth sectors, blinc operates in innovative fields of learning and validation, supports mobility and young entrepreneurship projects, and develops formats for circular economy, design thinking, entrepreneurship education, CSR, and Sustainable Development Goals. blinc has tailored and applied the LEVEL5 COL&V approach in various informal learning settings, including mobility actions, volunteering, intercultural and entrepreneurial programs, and job-based learning.
Since 2007, blinc has organized 14 European REVEAL conferences, attracting over 1,500 participants, to discuss innovative approaches to competence-oriented learning and validation.
Since 2016 blinc has been focusing on innovative training and learning sectors like mobility learning, entrepreneurship education, design thinking, circular economy, sustainable development. Our vision is to provide innovative, technology supported learning offers to enhance the development in these domains.

Bildung und Project Netzwerk (BUPNET) is an Adult Education provider with extensive experience in supporting adult learners from all sectors in Germany. Established in 1985 as  provider of adult education in the fields of project management, vocational training and counselling, BUPNET has a strong multi-disciplinary team which develops and implements innovative training and consultancy projects locally, nationally and across Europe. Since its foundation, environmental and climate education have been one of the main topics that are repeatedly addressed in the various projects and training offers.

Smart Revolution, founded in Massa, Italy, with a second office in Turin, is a consulting firm promoting innovation, efficiency, and sustainability. The company operates in three main sectors: training, European project management, and consulting services. Their training sector, certified UNI EN ISO 9001:2015, designs and delivers modular and customised training programmes, focusing on digital literacy, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and innovation. They provide training for both employed individuals and job seekers, using advanced learning management systems for e-learning and blended learning. In European project management, Smart Revolution offers consultancy for project design, management, and evaluation, participating as a partner or coordinator in various European projects. Their consulting services support innovative start-ups, SMEs, and public institutions in identifying funding opportunities and managing projects, with expertise in innovation, R&D, internationalisation, and digitalisation. The company comprises three co-founders, four permanent employees, and an average of three interns. Notable staff includes Enrica Pautasso, an experienced project manager in sustainable development and European projects, and Tarryn Tomlinson, an accessibility consultant and advocate for disability inclusion. Smart Revolution collaborates with various institutions and companies, focusing on inclusion, accessibility, and sustainability, and is a member of the REVEAL network.

Kauno trečiojo amžiaus universitetas is a non-governmental adult education association that has been operating on a voluntary basis with active adults aged 50 and above for over 24 years. It runs 13 faculties attended by approximately 800 seniors (1350 in 2019), offering courses in subjects such as history, art, ICT, law, literature, theology, and ecological knowledge. The association relies solely on symbolic membership fees and does not employ any paid staff. They actively participate in international and ministry projects to motivate their deans, lecturers, administration, and the most active listeners. The average age of their attendees ranges from 65 to 75 years old, with seniors attending seminars to continue learning and acquiring new skills. They aim to involve seniors with physical or mental disabilities who currently face barriers in attending lectures or participating in European projects. This effort aligns with the project’s priorities, as it addresses ageing-related challenges and prepares all seniors for potential future issues.

The Polytechnic of Leiria is a modern higher education institution (HEI) in Portugal, focusing on education, research, innovative services to society, and internationalization. With five faculties, it serves over 13,000 students and employs more than 1,600 staff members. As the leading HEI of the RUN-EU European University, it emphasizes societal development through education, research, and innovation. It is the only public HEI in the Leiria and Western region, forming a core part of a regional and global research and innovation ecosystem. This includes 15 research centers, a startup ecosystem with four incubators and a startup accelerator, and partnerships with over 1,200 SMEs. The Polytechnic of Leiria excels in co-creation projects with SMEs, leading national and international R&D projects, including FP7 and H2020. The Superior School of Tourism and Maritime Technology within the Polytechnic houses strong research groups in tourism (CITUR) and biology (MARE), with experience in heritage interpretation and non-formal learning.
