Altra is offering field trips and summer and winter camps. Field trips are part of Altra’s day centre activities and as a bi-weekly activity as part of Altra’s counselling programme. There is also option to organize different camps during all seasons. These are usually weekly camps with counselling groups, visits and other organized individual and group activities tailored to the needs of participants.

Participants are welcome to join in!

The participants are people with psychological disabilities, their familias and professional workers.

Support during field trips and camps is in offering reduced pricing for trips, help with transport, as part of camps we offer individual support for campers and also counselling groups, individual and group sports activities etc.

Altra was the first mental health NGO to offer field trips, summer and winter camps for users of Altra services who are people with mental health issues that are mostly financially disadvantaged and have very limited travelling options which also limits their options in social interactions and social networking that traveling and spending time in nature brings.
