Facilitating Inclusive Mobility
A CPD for Practitioners
This course provides practical strategies to support the design and delivery of accessible, inclusive, and meaningful learning mobility experiences for adult learners. Across eight modules, you will explore key aspects of inclusive mobility, including outreach and engagement, learner preparation, communication, mentoring, and competence-oriented evaluation. The course supports practitioners in responding to diverse learner needs, strengthening their facilitation practice, and promoting more equitable participation in mobility programmes.
In addition to Facilitating Inclusive Mobility, integrating Design-Based Collaborative Learning (DBCL) into learning mobility activities can further support learners’ development, particularly in creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving. DBCL is a learner-centred, project-based approach rooted in Design Thinking and emphasises collaboration, creativity, and contextualised learning. To learn more about facilitating Design Thinking and DBCL, you can access: Design Thinking Moodle Course or the Design Thinking Handbook.
