Active Learning in Tenerife, Spain

The aim of the training is to deepen knowledge about non-formal education methods, playful learning, social inclusion and experiential learning.

  • Participants get to know each other through interactive activities designed to increase group cohesion and trust.
  • Non-formal education methods are used to help create an inclusive learning environment.
  • The importance of social inclusion and the sharing of experiences from different European countries is discussed.
  • Outdoor educational activities and guided night sky observation are hold in Teide National Park.
  • Participants explore playful learning and gamification methods in nature.
  • Treasure hunt games are organised in the Anaga Forest to promote creativity, motivation and group cohesion.
  • Discussions and exchange of good practices on playful learning.
  • Participants become familiar with playful methods and their differences from playful learning.

Working with participants from other countries,  increases empathy and understanding of the importance of social inclusion, understand the different needs of students, and applying the most appropriate methodologies.
